Title:
THE CROSSROADS
Robert Johnson was born in
Hazelhurst, Mississippi in 1911.
He spent his entire life
grooming himself up for being a
singer. His instrument was the
guitar. After many years of
teaching himself to play and
write music he seemed to be
getting stale and not growing
much, so in early 1936, Robert
Johnson disappeared. All his
friends and family did not know
where he was, just vanished. In
summer of 1936 Robert Johnson
returned to his people and was a
new man. He somehow learned to
play the guitar and sing and
write a thousand times better!
No one knew why or how. He
started writing blues songs and
became very popular. He went on
to be a legend in blues music.
Eric Clapton said, "Robert
Johnson is the most important
blues singer that ever lived."
Rolling Stone Magazine ranks him
5th on their list of 100
greatest guitarists of all time.
How did he get so good, so fast?
Many say he left town and went
down to the crossroads where he
made a deal with the devil and
sold him his soul for talent.
This legend still stands firm
when ever his name is mentioned.
Robert Johnson died on August
16, 1936. He was only 27 years
old.
I made the character face myself.
The hat is a .3ds conversion I
